In a specially arranged day program, Shubhraji will expound some simple truths from the Vedantic texts Atma Bodha and Bhagavad Gita.With its beautiful grounds of 294 acres of greenery and tranquility, the setting of Shanti Mandir is particularly conducive to receiving these teachings. The ashram is 1 1/2 hr drive from Rockland County.Cost per person for ONE DAY VEDANTA RETREAT : $75 (includes lunch and tea/snacks)The ashram serves simple and delicious sattvic organic Indian food, chai and snacks at teatime.
Each one of us will also honor our Guru Shubhraji with gurudakshina at the conclusion of the day’s program.
